CDR — a ready CorelDRAW file: download it and open it with a double click, no import step and no intermediate formats. Layers arrive as separate named groups in the map's language, colours are CMYK out of the box, labels stay editable text, gradients and raster underlays are preserved. Key Features

About CDR Format
CDR is the working format of CorelDRAW, closed and undocumented: tools that could write a .cdr on a Linux server simply do not exist in the open. CorelDRAW itself, however, imports SVG perfectly — that is the standard route designers use to move graphics from Inkscape, Illustrator and any other editor.
So the export is arranged honestly: you get not a fake .cdr but a working kit for CorelDRAW. The map arrives as vector, all objects stay curves and fills, labels stay text; after the import the file is saved to the native .cdr with a single command.
The downloaded archive holds three files: map.svg — the map itself, INSTRUCTIONS.html — a step-by-step guide for CorelDRAW that can be opened in a browser, and a short README.txt. The instructions arrive in the interface language of the site. The whole path from download to a saved .cdr takes less than a minute.

How to Export CDR
How to Open After Export
- Unpack the archive — inside are map.svg, INSTRUCTIONS.html and README.txt; start with the instructions, they open in any browser.
- CorelDRAW — File → Import → pick map.svg; on import keep text as text if you plan to edit the labels.
- Saving to the native format — after the import, File → Save As → CorelDRAW (.cdr); from there it is an ordinary Corel document.
- Inkscape or Affinity Designer — open map.svg directly, if CorelDRAW is not at hand and the map has to be looked at or refined.
- Font check — if the label font is not in the system, the editor will substitute its own; that substitution is worth making deliberately before laying out the design.
