Open BetabetaDWG is the native AutoCAD format and the industry standard for architectural and civil engineering projects. The OpenStreetMap output drops into a drawing as an underlay: roads, buildings, water bodies and vegetation arrive as separate layers you can design on top of. If the service cannot build a native DWG, it honestly returns a DXF file with an X-Actual-Format: dxf header — the same CAD applications open both. The output opens in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, NanoCAD, and any compatible CAD editor.
