.zip · application/zip

SUMO (Simulation of Urban Mobility) to symulator ruchu drogowego o otwartym kodzie źródłowym. Format .net.xml opisuje sieci dróg z pasami ruchu, skrzyżowaniami i połączeniami. Używany do modelowania ruchu, optymalizacji sygnalizacji oraz planowania transportu.

O formacie SUMO

SUMO is an open traffic simulator that models every car separately. People use it to see what happens to a district if a street is closed, a lane is added or the traffic light phases are changed. The road network is described by an XML file: street edges, junction nodes, lanes and the connections between them.

Usually the network is obtained from OpenStreetMap with a separate utility, and that means fiddling with settings and cleaning the data. Our export hands you a ready network for the chosen area right away — convenient for a study assignment, a quick test of a hypothesis or a demonstration.

What is in the archive: the road network file and a configuration that is enough to launch a simulation. The streets are taken from OSM together with the road type, the number of lanes (up to eight) and the permitted speed by class; the coordinates are converted from latitude and longitude into local meters.

What the network does not have: traffic light programs and travel demand. Traffic light logic is set in SUMO separately, and vehicle routes are generated with the standard utilities — without them the simulation will start, but nobody will drive down the streets.

Kto korzysta z map SUMO

🏗
Symulacja ruchu
The real street network of a district as the basis of a traffic model.
💻
Optymalizacja sygnalizacji
A playground for experiments with phases: traffic lights are set in SUMO on top of the ready network.
📊
Planowanie transportu
Testing scenarios — a street closure, a new link, different lane counts — before interfering with the real city.
🎨
Modelowanie emisji
Emission estimates from the modelled flows with SUMO's own tools on real street geometry.
🗺
Komunikacja V2X
A test scene for vehicle-to-infrastructure communication scenarios.
