How to use Minecraft Schem for Iceland
- WorldEdit (Java Edition, a server or single-player with Fabric/Forge) — put the file into the config/worldedit/schematics folder (on a server, plugins/WorldEdit/schematics), then //schem load name and //paste.
- Litematica — put the .schem into the schematics folder and load it as a projection: the build appears as a semi-transparent guide and the blocks are placed by hand in survival.

FAQ: Minecraft Schem for Iceland
How to import .schem into Minecraft?
Use WorldEdit (//schem load) or Litematica. Place the file in the schematics folder.
What is the maximum map size?
256x256x256 blocks (about 512x512 meters at 2m/block scale).
Can I change the blocks?
Yes, each building type maps to a different block (residential=wood, office=quartz, industrial=iron).
How much terrain fits into one file?
The grid is limited to 256 blocks along each axis and the default scale is 2 meters per block, that is about 512x512 meters: a city block or the centre of a small town. For a larger area, take several exports of neighbouring sections.
Is the terrain relief taken into account?
No, everything is built on a flat base. Only buildings get height — from the height or building:levels tags — and if there are no tags a neutral value is applied so that a house does not end up as a flat patch.
