Upload your file — we will detect its area, build the OSM map and overlay your objects on top. GIS, CAD, vector and raster formats are available.
California, Pennsylvania and about 20 other states have no single open registry — the data sits with the counties; we will connect them later. Other states with statewide data (Wisconsin, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas…) come in the next stage.

At the content level you picked, these layers will go on the map. Uncheck what you don't need or add what's missing.

Label language
Street and place names in the chosen language where OpenStreetMap has them; otherwise the local name.
Common languages
Used when the map has no label in the chosen language
If a place has no name in the language you chose, we write the local name in Latin letters (for example: 北京 → Beijing). Arabic and Hebrew names stay unchanged — in Latin they are unreadable.
Labels come from OpenStreetMap data. If an object has no name in the chosen language, the local or English name is shown instead.
Relief and overlay layers
Elevation from Copernicus GLO-30 (30 m). Everything is off by default.
Relief

Soft and three-dimensional

Show seabed
Relief is normally drawn on land only: contour lines, hachures and spot heights are clipped to the coastline, and the sea stays sea. Tick this if you need relief under water too — then contour lines will run across the seabed as well. Applies when relief is selected on this step.

Grayscale
The denser it is, the more distinct the terrain. Applied to the exported file.

Coordinate grid
The grid goes into vector formats (PDF, SVG, DXF, DWG, KML) and raster ones (PNG, JPEG, GeoTIFF) alike. If your format cannot carry a grid, I'll warn you.
This format cannot carry a coordinate grid. If you need one, choose PDF, PNG, SVG, DXF, DWG or KML.
Cadastral base
The cadastral base is overlaid as an image and is included only in raster formats: PNG, JPEG, GeoTIFF, TIFF, COG. It will not be embedded into PDF, SVG or other vector formats. Coverage: 35 countries and regions with open cadastral sources — the card appears only when your area falls within a covered region. An image base is not available for Russia: use the “By cadastral number” mode on the first step — the parcel is exported to any format, including DWG and DXF.

Satellite photo under the map
Your map is drawn on top of a satellite photo of the same place: every layer, style and label you picked stays where it is, and a photo from orbit appears underneath. The photo is coarser than the map: one of its dots is about 10 metres on the ground, so close up it looks soft while the lines and labels over it stay sharp. A drawing (DWG, DXF) does not carry the photo.
For 3D formats the relief becomes a 3D mesh — its settings are on the “Format” step.

Detail
By default the system picks the detail level for your area and format. Drag left to coarsen (lighter file) or right for more detail (noticeable only on small areas).
Sheet and scale
A single sheet prints at one paper size; an atlas is many pages with overlap.
The map won't fit on a single sheet — we'll split the area into pages with an index.
Sheet size
Rolls (plotter)
Width is fixed, length follows your area.
Up to 3000 × 5000 mm. For a larger wall map, print the vector file scaled up, or in overlapping strips.
Orientation
Digital formats (SVG, GeoJSON…) need no sheet size — it applies to printable ones only.
How to set the scale
Leave it empty and the scale will be fitted to the sheet size automatically.

Coordinate system
WGS 84, the world standard, is used by default. Change it only if you know you need to.
The coordinate system matters when your map goes into GIS or CAD — there it must match the rest of your data. For printing and posters the default works fine.

For specialists custom EPSG · proj4 / WKT · corrections
By default accuracy for Russian systems is ~3 m. If you have your own grid file (.gsb), attach it for sub-metre accuracy.
Datum-shift / NTv2 transformation parameters are applied at your own responsibility for the grid file's licence. For formats without a projection (e.g. plain SVG) this step does not apply.
The drawing itself does not depend on the version — only the file format changes. Pick an older version if your program refuses to open the file.
These are the sizes game engines accept for a landscape import directly. A larger canvas means finer relief and a longer render; the elevation source itself does not get finer — its nodes stand about 30 m apart.
